Wow, it has been a while since I've blogged. There is quite a bit to catch up on. Hopefully my fingers can endure all of the typing.
First, the Leslie Register. For a while I've been writing a little family newspaper. I called it the Leslie Register. But lately I've been putting it off. Once I was watching the news and found a great thing for the newspaper. It was called "Another Boston Tea Party".People were throwing tea all up and down the Mississippi River. Of course they didn't care about the tea. They just wanted to prove that taxes were too high. It was a real riot. People were holding up signs and everything!
Second, babysitting! My parents have decided that I'm old enough to babysit for other families. And yesterday Kristy Bolinder (she's in my ward) called my mom. I'm supposed to babysit her 8 year old daughter and her... I think 5 year old son tonight at 6:45. I'm so excited! I've been reading this babysitters' book. It has a whole bunch of tips and comes with some stuff, too. Thankfully my first job isn't going to be too hard to handle.
And last, weather. For the past week it has been nice enough to go outside without coats (and since we live in Idaho that is saying something). But today it is snowing. The moment dad said, "Hey, it's snowing!" Anna and I stomped and yelled. It feels like its been 200 years since we've been able to go outside then go right back inside because it is so hot.
I better go. We're going to have lunch soon.

  1. Aliese I love your blog so much, I wish you woudl post more often. That boston tea party thing is amazing. That is cool you're making a Leslie register, Megan made "the Arnold Gazette" when she was your age. That is so exciting that you are babysitting now! You'll have to blog all about it. I could not imagine Idaho weather, it sounds so depressing. And how annoying having the weather tease you like that, you think it's finally going to be sunny, and then it snows. I love you - write more!

  3. I'm so glad you posted Aliese!!! I checked your blog all the time, but stopped for a while because you weren't posting anymore.

How did your babysitting job go? I'm sure it went great and you were a natural. You have learned so much just by being an older sister to Anna and Gracie.

The tea parties...they had a bunch of tea parties here in our town on April 15th, tax day. All over the nation people had them. Shad and I meant to go, but forgot that night. Bummer.

I'm so happy that it has warmed up for you guys. Hopefully it will stay warm for a while.

    Love you!
